Since qualifying, Alix has continued to develop her skills by partaking in an acupuncture course which will be completed this year. Alix enjoys being an osteopath and loves being able to look at each patient as an individual and tailoring treatment plans to their specific physical and mental needs. Carl loves being an Osteopath!

He graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in 2015 and went to work in the NHS where he worked with patients with a wide range of conditions. Like the rest of the team, Carl sees Osteopathy as a holistic approach to both treating symptoms like low back pain, but also as a preventative measure. He sees the importance of combining rehabilitation with lifestyle and exercise and within the practice teaches an exercise class that helps people with unstable postures as well as working one to one with clients.

Carl also teaches and supervises the clinical practice of 3rd and 4th year students at the European School of Osteopathy which means he can learn from new trainees as well as keep up to date with the latest methods which he can share within the practice. In his spare time Carl loves to learn and is continually adding new techniques to his training.

He is currently studying Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy and is interested in their ability to use them to manage and reduce pain.

Tim qualified in 2007 as an Osteopath. Tim experienced Osteopathy as a teenager and then again while he was completing his first Degree in Sports Science which helped him realise this was the path he wanted to follow.

Tim started his practice in doctor’s surgeries and then opened his own premises a few years later. He is proud to have built a team of passionate, dedicated and caring colleagues who all have the same drive to offer holistic therapy that meets the needs of the individual patient rather than a one size its all approach.

Tim is hugely passionate about osteopathy and the benefits it can give and he loves to see the smile’s return to people’s faces once they have got help with their pain and injury.

When Tim isn’t at work, he likes to play golf, but a new baby and a dog means that doesn’t happen as much as he likes. He also loves black coffee; lots and lots of coffee!
